Golden Milk Adaptogen

Golden Milk Adaptogen

$18.00Price

Golden Milk is stimulating and nourishing.  I love to brew a mug when I’m feeling a need for a little internal fire ignition in the morning.  In addition to the classic ingredients, I’ve added in a few adaptogenic friends to assist in mental function and stress management throughout your day.

*Note: Due to the warmth of this formula, I recommended enjoying this blend occasionally or for short periods of time, especially if you are naturally a warm constitution (Pitta).

  • More About the Herbs

Turmeric: Fresh, freeze dried root. Anti-oxidant rich and helps to reduce inflammation throughout the body (including joints!) Ignites digestive fire (Agni) and assists in stimulating bile production to help regulate digestion.

Ginger: Fresh, freeze dried root. Also a warming herb, ginger helps ease pain and inflammation, soothes the stomach from gas and indigestion, stimulates appetite and bile production, stimulates circulation, and has the added benefit of helping to fight off bacterial and viral infections.

Eleuthero Root: Known as the “King” of Adaptogens and one of the most widely studied. Helps to nourish, strengthen, and tone the nervous system. Eleuthero can also help to gently increase energy and stamina.

Reishi: “The Mushroom of Immortality”. In this formula, she is bringing the energy of “refilling your cup” to help alleviate fatigue/exhaustion and restore the vital force of energy throughout the whole body.

Ashwagandha: I think of her as “The Great Nurturer”. Ashwagandha helps modulate multiple systems and regulate function without pulling from the body’s reserves. She promotes a calm, peaceful state of mind while building core resiliency.

Licorice Root: While also technically in the adaptogen action family, in this formula Licorice Root is helping to cool and balance the warmth of the blend while also soothing, protecting, and restoring the body systems.
